Alan is a first-year (2008) doctoral student in Dr. Deanna Barch's lab, and graduated from the University of Maryland while serving in the U.S. Navy. He is coming to beautiful St. Louis from the DC/Maryland area, where he worked as a research assistant at NIMH, Clinical Brain Disorders Branch in the Neuropsychology Lab. His current interests involve working memory and how the genetic modulation of dopamine impacts executive functioning.
